The Fetus is an object that has appeared in two Cube Escape games. It appears to be a nonliving human fetus, at a late stage of development. Its origin is currently unknown.
Cube Escape: Case 23Edit
During the third chapter of the game, the player is in the Chapel. There is one locked compartment that contains the Fetus inside a jar. After the player pours ink into the jar, the Fetus turns into a Heart, which is used to unlock another compartment.
Cube Escape: TheatreEdit
Inside the Theatre's bathroom, there is a toilet that the player needs to plumb using a plunger. After this is done, the Fetus is retrieved. It is used in the first play, "The Lady of the Lake". During the play, the starring actress will ask the player to balance the substances of her past lives. The Fetus, along with the Heart, Shell, and the hat that Ms. Pheasant wore as the Lady in Blue, is placed onto one of the four scales. When they are properly balanced, the woman shines a beam of light from her mouth and a pink flower sprouts from it, ending the play.
