Cube Escape: The Mill is the sixth installment of the Cube Escape series, released in September 2015. Playing as Mr. Crow in 1972, you endeavour to create cubes from the Woman's memories to feed into Rusty Lake.

Living Room

Stove/Window
  • Take the wood from the floor.
  • Focus on the table and get the matches.
  • Defocus, focus on the stove, and get the pan with water.
  • Open the top left drawer.
  • Place the wood in the drawer.
  • Light it with the matches.
  • Close the drawer.
  • Defocus and look up.
Ceiling
  • Use the matches to burn the spider web.
  • Take the key that is revealed.
  • Look down and go to the cabinet/door.
Cabinet/Door
  • Unlock the cabinet next to the door.
  • Focus on the Old Woman.
  • Click her mouth twice.
  • Click her teeth in this order:
    • X, 6, 4.
    • V, 5.
    • 3, 1, IV.
    • I, I, 2.
    • 3, I, II.
    • 2, II.
    • 2, I, I.
  • Take the golden tooth.
  • Defocus, then go right.
Stove/Window
  • Focus on the stove.
  • Place the golden tooth in the top drawer of the stove on top of the burning wood and close it.
  • Open the bottom drawer and retrieve the liquid gold.
  • Close the drawer and defocus.
  • Focus on the table.
  • Open the key mold.
  • Place the liquid gold in the key mold on top of the table, close it, open it, and take the golden key.
  • Defocus, then look up.
Ceiling
  • Unlock the attic entrance.
  • Climb up into the attic.


Top Floor

Bird/Wheel
  • Click on Harvey on the window.
  • She will poop on the window. Take the bird shit.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Spinning Wheel
  • Focus on the pot.
  • Take the scissors from behind the pot.
  • Use the bird shit as fertilizer on the potted grass.
  • Put water from the pan with water on the grass.
  • Click back away from the pot, then click on the pot again, the grass will be grown.
  • Cut the grass with the scissors.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Cow
  • Feed the grass to the cow.
  • Click on the cow a few times to make sure it eats it.
  • Focus on the cow's udders.
  • Place the pan underneath the udders.
  • Click the udders in the correct order.
    • From left to right: 4, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • Take the pan with milk and defocus.
  • Go left.
Clock/TV/Phone
  • Open the cabinet doors.
  • Get the binoculars and the knitting needle.
  • Focus on the TV.
  • Turn on the TV by clicking the button.
  • Change the channel by clicking the button, then click away.
  • Click back on the TV.
  • Click the button twice.
  • Defocus, then answer the phone.
  • Click the phone a few times to have a cryptic conversation with him.

P: Hello?
D: Hello, this is detective Dale Vandermeer.
P: Yes.
D: Is this Rusty Lake?
P: Say the word.
D: Fate?
P: I am sorry. Your place is already taken.

  • Defocus, then focus on the TV again.
  • Click the button one more time.
  • Defocus, then return to the Old Woman downstairs.


Living Room

Cabinet/Door
  • Focus on the Old Woman.
  • Cut off her hair with the scissors.
  • Give her the knitting needle.
  • Defocus, then return to the spinning wheel in the attic.


Top Floor

Spinning Wheel
  • Focus on the spinning wheel.
  • Use the spinning wheel to turn her hair into wool.
  • Return to the living room.


Living Room

Cabinet/Door
  • Focus on the Old Woman.
  • Give her the wool.
  • Defocus, then go right.
Window/Stove
  • Focus on the stove.
  • Place the pan with milk on the stove.
  • Get the pan with hot milk.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Cabinet/Door
  • Focus on the Old Woman.
  • Give her the warm milk.
  • Click her and she will knit you an oven glove.
  • Defocus, then return to the bird in the attic.


Top Floor

Bird
  • Focus on the right-hand window. Focus again.
  • Use the binoculars on the church to see the numbers 1384.
  • Return to the living room.


Living Room

Cabinet/Door
  • Focus on the door.
  • Enter 1384 into the door.
  • Defocus, then go to the valve downstairs.


Basement

Valve
  • Click the water valve to start filling the room with water.
  • Go left.
Duck/Stairs
  • Click the duck to get him to eat the three plants on the wall.
  • Get the fat duck.
  • Return upstairs to the stove.


Living Room

Stove/Window
  • Focus on the oven.
  • Open the oven door.
  • Put the fat duck in the oven.
  • Close and open the door.
  • Use the oven glove to get the grilled duck.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Cabinet/Door
  • Focus on the Old Woman.
  • Give her the grilled duck.
  • She will knit you a net.
  • Defocus, then go downstairs to the water valve.


Basement

Valve
  • Use the net to catch the fish.
  • Return to the stove.


Living Room

Stove
  • Focus on the stove.
  • Open the oven door.
  • Put the fish in the oven.
  • Close and open the door.
  • Use the oven glove to get grilled fish.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Cabinet/Door
  • Focus on the Old Woman.
  • Give her the grilled fish.
  • She will knit you a strong rope.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Memory Machine
  • Apply the strong rope to the machine.
  • Return to the clock in the attic.


Top Floor

Clock/TV/Phone
  • Focus on the clock.
  • Change the time to 6:10.
  • Defocus, then open the clock.
  • Click the corpse of the Woman to move it to the memory machine in the living room.


Living Room

Memory Machine
  • Use the arrow buttons on the machine to maneuver the Woman's head into the top of the machine.
  • Return to the TV in the attic.


Top Floor

Clock/TV/Phone
  • Focus on the TV.
  • Click the button several times to watch Dale Vandermeer place cubes into the slots until the screen flashes white.
  • Defocus, then go left.
Bird
  • Click the window on the right.
  • Look outside: you will see Dale Vandermeer lying dead next to the Church with a beam of light coming out of him.
  • Use the binoculars on his body.
  • Click his body. Mr. Owl will appear behind him, magically levitating his body and causing a storm to break out.
  • Return to the memory machine.


Living Room

Memory Machine
  • Click the Woman's head inside the window.
  • Click the brain and play the memory game.
  • Extract the white cube from the machine.
  • Return to the basement.


Basement

Valve
  • Open the valve.
  • Go right twice.
Machine
  • Click the left-hand trough.
  • Place the white cube in the machine.
  • Click the lever.
  • Click the window to see the number 257.
  • Return to the memory machine.


Living Room

Memory Machine
  • Click on the brain.
  • Enter 257 to the left, then flip the switch.
  • Click the screen to play the next memory game.
  • Extract the black cube from the machine.
  • Return to the machine in the basement.


Basement

Machine
  • Place the black cube in the machine.
  • Click the lever.
  • Return to the bird in the attic.


Top Floor

Bird
  • Click the Corrupted Soul through the dialogue.

Please leave.
There will be blood.
Your memories belong to the lake now.
Leave them all behind.
All that you touch, you change.

Soundtrack Soundtrack

  • The music used for the menu screen is called "Blue Sizzle".
  • The music used for most of the game is called "Dreams Become Real".
  • The music used at end of the game (after the black cube is fed to the Lake and the Corrupted Soul escapes) is called "Right Behind You".

Trivia Trivia

  • This game has the other half of the conversation in Cube Escape: Case 23.
  • If you cook the pan of water on the stove, you will get the item "pan with hot water." In other areas of the game, this will just be called "???". This item can still be used on the plant.
